“Summer on the Cuyahoga” Seeks Cleveland Area Employers Interested in Hiring Summer Interns

Summer on the Cuyahoga is a unique summer internship program that brings together undergraduate students from Allegheny College, Case Western Reserve University, Colgate University, Cornell University, Denison University, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Smith College, and The University of Chicago for an intensive summer immersion program designed to help interns explore the professional, civic, and social offerings of the Cleveland area.

Companies, small businesses, and nonprofits provide challenging paid internships, and SOTC gives employers access to a diverse talent pool that is attracted to the SOTC program because of its free housing, special events, and community of peers. There is NO fee for posting positions, and there is no obligation to hire an intern if the employer does not find a student who meets its criteria. If you decide to hire a student, information on the fees, minimum wage, and time frame for interns can be found in the attached materials.

Click here to access employer registration if you’re ready to post an internship. By participating, you’ll join a community of employers that see the benefit of internships, love the Cleveland area, and recognize the value in joining our vibrant Summer on the Cuyahoga community.

If you or your team has any need for interns this summer, or if you know people in the area who might be interested in summer interns from these schools, you are encouraged to post on their internships board. Should you have any questions, please reach out to the executive director of the program, Eric McGarvey at emcgarvey@summeronthecuyahoga.com.
